2006-10-09 - class chalet/hotel

TWO JUSTICE 2006 IS THE BOMB
i mean it. who has a chalet immediately after exams? 2 Justice does. and on sunday till monday, too.

the minute we entered the chalet, we started screaming and running like total nutcases. cards, food, mary's char kway tiao, vcds/dvds came spilling out along with loads of noise. we started watching movies like ice princess, little mermaid, smallville, tomb raider! so fun!

oh yeah, not even an hour into the chalet/hotel party and i broke something. total klutz i am. i stepped on the center of this tiny piece of glass which covered a light, and the silly thing split cleanly into two, of equal sizes even. the only thing i thought was 'why am i sinking?' before spotting my foot on top of broken glass.

speaking of being klutzy, i also somehow managed to step on a paper plate of chicken and send it flying onto the carpet. ):

we also made like massive amounts of popcorn, natalie and i being the popping masters with the popping business and annette (nut) being the popping apprentice. mind you, its no wonder she's just an apprentice; she practically drowned the popcorn in butter. the popcorn swilled around in an oily yellow mess.

nut was super cute; she kept going 'popping in progress' and 'whatcha gonna do, throw a crab at me?', got it all on tape :D

we ate loads, and watched smallville until 3am before finally going to bed. charlotte fell asleep way before that, and i contemplated aloud sprinkling potato sticks over her, but thought she'd do a girl guide punch to my face. and she opened her eyes and said YEAH I WILL. ohmygod you wont believe how scary it was.

today, in the morning, mary huimin and tessa crashed into our room (charlotte, clare, me) and stared at us before bursting into laughter. apparently, we all opened our eyes at the same time. oh did i mention that in the other room, there were 8 people? :D talk about squished. we (charlotte, clare, me) kept calling them stupid as there were only three of us in the other room. we talked a bit, watched smallville, and went crazy watching the crazy videos from saturday.

then everyone left, leaving clare and i to check out. the cleaning ladies arrived and we ran out downstairs to avoid a scolding, and then we were sent up again by the receptionist. talk about scary. the lady there started scolding us. these are the less insulting phrases:

"how can you be so inconsiderate! we have to close the room. we just lost a week's business!"
"and you are girls, how can you be so messy!"
"next time when you grow up, your husbands will run away, so messy!"
"we specifically told you to clean up! this isnt a chalet, its a hotel!" precisely my point. youre allowed to trash the room in a hotel, right? unethical, yes, but wrong? no. worse still, she thought it was just the two of us who trashed the entire place, which makes everything hilarious-er, but we were getting grilled, so we couldnt laugh. actually, it wasnt very funny getting a scolding.

well, im going to find a husband who doesnt care what i do to the house; he'll hire someone to clean it. all he has to do is be completely and utterly in love with me. :D

clare and i kept talking about how nathan (james lafferty), clark (tom welling) and lucas (chad michael murray) were so cute in their shows, and we came up with this crap about Lydia and Lucas, and Clare and Clark. clare didnt want to give me clark, haha! these guys/characters were so sweet in the various shows (one tree hill & smallville)

anyway, clare came over after it all, and we just lay on the bed and watched one tree hill (apparently its now her favourite show!) and ate fruitella. clare got hungry and we went to get a totino's pizza, and then watched some more teevee and the videos we took. i braided her hair before she left and we took more pictures! :D paparazzis love to take pictures, and be in pictures
